This week for Thankful Thursday, we want to thank the VSA’s Virtual Learning Task Force

After the Board of Directors made the difficult decision to cancel our 2020 Conference because of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Task Force made sure our members didn’t go without education. They stepped up and created a robust schedule of professional development opportunities

We are grateful to the Virtual Learning Leadership Team – Jason Allen, Josh Gutwill, Amanda Krantz and Lindsay Maldonado – and to all the Conference Planning Committee, Professional Development Working Group and Green Team members who made up the Virtual Learning Task Force, as well as everyone who volunteered their time to lead a session or facilitate a discussion.

Their collaborative efforts to create a sense of community during these difficult times allowed us to offer 20 virtual educational programs, support groups and other programming and reach 2,500 visitor studies professionals.

Please join us, if you are able, in expressing your gratitude by making a donation to the VSA Annual Fund. Even a small amount can go a long way!

Here are some ways to support us:

  • Donate directly at our website.
  • Make a voluntary donation when registering for web chats. The suggested amount is $15, but all donations are gratefully accepted.
  • Shop AmazonSmile. Visit and designate the Visitor Studies Association as your chosen charity. Each time you shop using the portal, Amazon will donate a portion of your purchase to VSA.
  • Renew your membership, become a member if you aren’t one yet and encourage your colleagues to join.

Your gift will allow us to continue providing our members with these valuable benefits:

On this Thankful Thursday and every day, we thank you for your support!
